Konstrundan 2024 illustrator: Amanda Valkonen

This years illustrator is Amanda Valkonen från Åland Islands.

Amanda is an illustrator and graphic designer from the Åland Islands. She is passionate about visual storytelling and has previously illustrated cards, packaging and various publications.

Opening party at Kulturhuset Grand

Welcome to the opening party and opening ceremony of Konstrundan on 5 September at 18.00 at Kulturhuset Grand in Porvoo! We celebrate the start of this year's Konstrundan, which will take place the following weekend 7-8 September 2024, as well as Konstrundan's move to Porvoo and Eastern Uusimaa. This celebration also marks the beginning of a fruitful co-operation with the Cultural Association Grand.

It is now time for professional artists, craftsmen, and designers to submit their applications for the 2024 Konstrundan.The application period is 15.1-25.2.2024. The application form and more information can be found on www.konstrundan.fi.

Konstrundan is an established event organised annually in Finland since 2008. During Konstrundan, professional artists, artists and designers open their studios and workshops to the public.

THE JUBILEE OF KONSTRUNDAN SUCCEEDED BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!

The first weekend in September Konstrundan was organized in Finland for the fifteenth time. Close to 440 artists, artisans and designers opened their doors to the public and invited visitors to talks and discussions, work demonstrations and energizing experiences. In total, they were visited by over 28,000 curious art lovers.
