The Application Fee has been increased
Konstrundan is primarily funded through grants from Swedish foundations in Finland and has over the years also received support from other foundations, including the Finnish Cultural Foundation. At the same time, Konstrundan is affected by uncertain times, reduced public funding for the cultural and arts sector, and rising general costs.
Against this background, Konstrundan’s board decided to increase the application fee to €30.00. The income is used to cover part of the administrative costs.
Konstrundan welcomes several new regional contacts
Konstrundan has recruited several new regional contacts across the country. On the Åland Islands, sculptor Ulrika Kjeldsen has taken on the role, while cultural producer Lilli Berts has started as regional contact in Ostrobothnia. Media professional and sound engineer Viktor Wolff is the new regional contact for Western Uusimaa and Kanta-Häme, and visual artist Mikaela Wikström is the new regional contact for the Helsinki region.
The Helsinki region now has a new email address.
