Information about the artist / the group

I work as a goldsmith in Tarinakoru with my husband, goldsmith Hannu Rantala. I design jewelry together with customers, based on their dreams and wishes, and I make my own designs, the subjects of which arise from images, memories, lived and experienced around me. The stories behind the jewelry are big and small. Words arise in my mind when designing, making or describing jewelry.
For me, goldsmithing is manual work using traditional methods and sketching with a pencil. The shape conveys movement and softness, creative energy.
At Yogavint, during the summer seasons, I guide the Sound Travel Relaxation with various healing instruments. Gongs, bowls, drums, among others, vibrate at their own frequency and get the body into a state of deep relaxation.

Program during Konstrundan

You will see a real goldsmith's workshop with his tools. You will get to know the tools and working methods in the old barn on the Taidonia farm. The boutique is attached to the workshop and there you will find our own collection of jewellery as well as unique pieces for sale.
The barn has a wellness centre in the attic, which is used as a yoga, relaxation and exercise room in the summer. On event days, you can relax and enjoy a waffle café.
