Year 2024 Heidi makes a comeback with completely new work that are also in show with two separate exhibitions in Porvoo: Pastoral at Culture Centre Grand in June-July, Romanssi in July at Kråkö Bryggeri and September Hämy in Gallery Maari.

Not to despair is to hope. This year her theme handles the issues of dystopic futures in our antropocenic times. She studies our relationship with the earth itself and the meaning of the good life. She celebrates the remaining beauty instead of succumbing to despair in front of the loss of biodiversity.

Together with fond memories of the previous year’s encounters and discussions Heidi bids a warm welcome for new and old friends in her Open Studios by Konstrundan!

My guests have an opportunity to enjoy seeing the artist at work, her studio and have discussions about art and environment with me. Visits will follow a natural tempo and are held in a candid manor. There are paintings and works for sale and am open to commissions if inspirations strikes!

Driving directions

Pappilanmäki is pretty neighbourhood behind the Porvoo Cathedral coming from the center of town. It takes about a 15 minutes walk to get there. Come to the end of Lähdekuja, my studio is in a secret garden behind our green house number 3. The steps leading to the studio are a bit steep for some to walk, so please be careful. My warmest welcome!
