Information about the artist / the group

I might have been born with a pen in my hand, since I have been always drawing. My education is master of art (The Estonian academy of Art, 2013) and currently I teach art in the Worker's institute of Helsinki and Porvoo. From inside I am a surrealist. My paintings are figurative and motives are often quite traditional, like portraits, still life or landscape. I also make paintings to order.
My favorite artists are surrealists, for example René Magritte. I'm also intrigued by interdisciplinary art and I play saxophone and guitar. Music is a recurring theme in my paintings.

Program during Konstrundan

On this year I am presenting some of my latest paintings from the previous years and also the once that have come into existence in this year. I have been renting this small studio room in the center of Porvoo from December 2023, so the works I am presenting here are indeed fresh. I'm delighted to tell more about my works. I will also make some live "croquis"-sketching during the happening. Coffee and cookies will be served.

Driving directions

The ateljé is situated in the center of Porvoo, in the corner of Lundinkatu and Linnankoskenkatu, opposite from the city park. Entrance is in the courtyard.
