Information about the artist / the group

I am a sculptor based in Lahti. My sculptures offer a window into moments that condense time and emotions. I try to capture the experience that everything is at the same time fleeting and eternal. I want to convey a glimpse of an emotion or a memory that simultaneously remais and escapes us: with the human figure I can stop time while also studying its irrevocable passing. An everyday gesture or movement may contain whole worlds that get recreated by the people looking at the sculpture.

Program during Konstrundan

I am holding the eleventh annual Haulitehdas Factory autumn exhibition. My latest works are exhibited inside the Factory and visitors can also view the Factory garden and the sculptures placed in it. The Haulitehdas Factory in Lahti was built in 1908 and is currently my family residence.

Driving directions

You can park your car on Tunnelipolku at the Paavola sports field car park. Mattilanmäenpolku is a pedestrian and cycle route. The Buckshot Factory is the second house on the right.
