Information about the artist / the group

I graduated in 2013 with a master's degree in fine arts from the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of the Arts, sculpture department. After my studies, I moved back to my hometown, Rovaniemi. I have focused especially on different techniques of sculpture and drawing, approaching art and reality also through writing. I mostly work alone, but sometimes it's nice to be able to expand my perspectives by working together with other artists. In 2021 and 2023, I have also worked in the curatorial group of the Young Arctic Artists exhibition series produced by the Lapland artists' association.

Welcome for a coffee to my studio in Vanhavaarantie! You can come for a short visit or hang out for a longer time to talk about my work and my art - or my studio, which is part of a studio complex built for visual artists, the use of which has remained minimal. It would be nice to hear if the visitors themselves have information and memories about the history of the place.

Driving directions

When Mäntyvaarantie turns into Vanhavaarantie after the intersection with Sipolantie, drive up the hill and turn right at the first exit on top of the hill. The studio door can be found in the middle of the end of the U-shaped terraced house. There are some parking spaces at the bottom next to the junction.
