Information about the artist / the group

As a multi-disciplinary visual artist and composer, with an educational background in animation, I often blend traditional fine art techniques with immersive, interactive technology. I draw inspiration from nature, light, emotions, colour, movement, and moments of interaction, as well as from motherhood and my Karelian roots. A gentle, uplifting strength underpins my art. I make my own inks and paints from natural materials.

In my studio, I find peace and freedom to develop my skills, deepen my relationship with art, and experiment with new ideas, while also having the opportunity to be part of a creative collective. Community is important to me, and my aim is to use my expertise for purposes that serve people beyond the individual level.

Program during Konstrundan

In my atelier, I'll gladly show you how to make inks and paints from natural, safe ingredients. You can explore my creative work through various techniques: eg. holography, graphic art, music and ceramics. Visitors can purchase my art products, such as prints, cards and refrigerator magnets, as well as original works.

Driving directions

There are free parking spaces on the edge of the yard at Hovilantie 4 for visitors to the Artists' House (Taiteilijatalo). The entrance to the atelier is in front of the orange house. Welcome!
