Information about the artist / the group

For me, painting is the best time - when I get into the flow state - peak. I mainly paint with oil paints, for me oil paint gives me time to linger, think, experiment. I find subjects in nature, the environment, people and other living beings. Different color experiments are also really interesting, this is how I deal with different emotional states. My paintings are often pastel shades, sometimes I need stronger colors, burnt ochre, red, earth colors... I also try different additional materials, pigments, clay powder, etc. I mix them with oil paint, I get structures for my works. Giving names to the works is quite difficult, I wouldn't want to guide the viewer, everyone could see my paintings according to their own feelings and interpretations.

Program during Konstrundan

Skogby village is the area of the old sawmill, where workers' apartments have been built since the 1920s. In the summer, we live in Lustigkulla, which is a 200-square-meter complex with my office. I have hung my paintings on the walls of the rooms in our house, for a summer exhibition. I present my paintings to visitors and tell them how I made them, what inspires me. Of course I like to talk to my guests about their views.
In Tammisaari, I also have paintings in Studio Vitrine.
